Sometimes it’s easy to forget that most of our food comes from tiny seeds that grow into the fruits and vegetables in the grocery store. I’ve always loved that onions and potatoes would start to sprout when left out too long, it’s a reminder that they have have other processes in their lifespan than just for our consumption.
